Matt Evans
Matt Evans now works for T3.com sister brand TechRadar, covering all things relating to fitness and wellness. He came to T3.com as staff writer before moving on, and was previously on Men's Health, and slightly counterintuitively, a website devoted to the consumption of Scotch whiskey. In his free time, he could often be found with his nose in a book until he discovered the Kindle.
After leaving T3.com originally Matt moved to Future's Fit&Well brand as staff writer, for which he remained for a year. He was then promoted to Channel Editor in 2021 and then News Editor the following year in 2022, tasked with generating content in the fitness and wellness categories.
Following on from his tenure at Fit&Well, Matt then took up his current position at TechRadar as Fitness & Wellbeing Editor, where he runs the brand's fitness vertical, planning, writing and commissioning content on all things.
Before getting started in journalism Matt studied at Cardiff University, attaining a Master's degree in Magazine Journalism.
Interestingly (and worryingly for his foes), Matt is a Shotokai Karate Black Belt, achieving his Senior 1st Dan at the age of 16. Also in terms of martial arts, Matt was President of the Kaiso Kickboxing club at Cardiff University.
