Looking to stay fit and active in the run-up to the festive season? Emporio Armani Connected Touchscreen Smartwatch has your back.
Emporio Armani shook up the world of analogue watches by adding step counting, notifications and music controls to its Hybrid watch. Now it’s doing the same for smartwatches with its Touchscreen Smartwatch range, powered by Android Wear.
EA Connected has a built in step counter – you can see your daily progress towards your goal on the home screen widget (above). Paired with the default Google Fit app, it can keep you motivated and moving during the day, with the ability to set targets to challenge yourself. Google Fit can also work as a fitness hub, importing data from the wealth of top-rated, third-party apps, from Endomondo to Strava.
In time the suite of activity tracking, workout, running and cycling apps available for Armani Wear Connected can give you brilliant insights into your personal fitness. What makes this silicone-enhanced piece truly effective, however, is that you’ll want to wear it all the time.
Most fitness wearables do a stand-up job of collecting activity data, but that’s of little use if you don’t want to wear them, because they’re so ugly, uncomfortable, unintuitive to use, and basic looking.
As well as step counting, the Emporio Armani touchscreen smartwatch connects to your phone to use GPS to track your runs and rides. With its on-trend range of interchangeable straps, it also functions as a go-anywhere smartwatch that you want to wear. You can use it with a bracelet as an all-day activity tracker, then switch to a lighter, leather strap at the gym or when running or out on your bike.
Paired with your mobile, the touchscreen smartwatch can track every step you take, every move you make, every single day, every game you play. It will be watching you. The crown controller, touchscreen and dual pushers give easy access to your favourite fitness apps, while the bright, hi-res screen keeps you up to date with your progress to your daily fitness goals. The choice of easy to switch, custom designed watch faces includes several that place your daily steps front and centre, so you can see at a glance how well you’re doing, every day.
As well as helping you stay in shape, the Emporio Armani touchscreen smartwatch helps you keep in touch, with diary alerts and filtered notifications – so you only see the messages that matter, rather than being bombarded with spam. Google Assistant is on hand to answer your questions and help you find the best gyms, bars, restaurants, cinemas and businesses, wherever you may step (or run, or cycle).
At the end of the day, hit the sack and leave the Emporio Armani Connected touchscreen smartwatch to recharge overnight (battery life is up to a full day, depending on usage). In the morning, it’ll be ready when you are.
