The Huawei Watch GT4 is more than just a smartwatch. With their geometric aesthetics, the timepieces evoke a classic feel, where the look and feel are as important as what they can do.
Being smart isn’t enough, you want a watch that matches your style. Something that you can wear on a night out, as well as on a run. The Watch GT4 answers that call, with a range of beautiful designs in two sizes.
Of course, the Watch GT4 isn’t just about looks, beneath that stylish exterior, this is the most advanced smartwatch that Huawei has ever produced. It sports advanced workout management, Pro health features and an impressive two-week battery life. And if all that’s not enough, it syncs with all phones, whether you’re running Android or iOS.
New iconic design
The Huawei Watch GT4 comes in two sizes, each with a unique style. The 46mm face has an octagonal design reminiscent of the premium oversized classic divers’ watches, complete with marks for the seconds on the outer casing. There are four designs in this range, with different straps to match your style.
A more delicately designed 41mm casing has a bracelet fashion watch feel. The casing is slimmer too, with only a subtle bezel and a choice of four strap colours and designs to suit your mood or outfit.
There is a range of custom faces for both models, with a choice of colours and widgets to choose from. So whether you want to choose something classic or modern, there’s a face for you – or you can change the look depending on your mood or activity.
Impressively, neither of the two sizes looks like your typical smartwatch. In fact, if you didn’t know, you’d think these were actually traditional timepieces, thanks to their classic styling. It’s only when you delve into their menus that the true extent of the Watch GT4’s potential is revealed.
Upgraded 24/7 health management
The Huawei Watch GT4’s TruSeen 5.5+ system is designed to track all of your vital signs so that you can always be informed as to how your body is behaving – even before you realise it yourself. The system is designed to track heart rate, oxygen saturation, sleep and stress levels, providing you with easy-to-follow metrics to interpret.
A pulse wave arrhythmia analysis monitors for any heart abnormalities using the PPG sensor, while the TruSleep 3.0 monitoring not only tracks the sleep you’re having but also detects abnormal breathing patterns.
Heart rate monitoring uses eight photoelectric sensors and two groups of light sources combined with a curved glass lens to better read your heart rate. This is aided by a new AI algorithm that helps to plot the data.
There are even special features designed to monitor women’s health matters. Period, ovulation and fertility estimates can be easily plotted and viewed on a calendar to better track the time of the month.
Up to 14-day battery life
No one wants to have to charge their watch every day, and with the Huawei Watch GT4 you don’t even need to charge it every week. The larger 46mm model has a maximum battery life of 14 days and a regular life of eight days. Even if you have the always-on display enabled, you’ll still get up to four days of use between charges. That means that you can head off for a long weekend break and not worry about carrying another charger.
The smaller 41mm model still offers an impressive seven-day maximum battery life and a four-day regular life. With the always-on display enabled, you can still have two days of use between charges.
Scientific workout coach
One of the main benefits of a smartwatch is the fitness tracking capabilities and here the Watch GT4 doesn’t disappoint. The data-driven workouts not only help you track each individual exercise, but the activity rings provide you with a great overview of your daily activity. You even get medals when you hit all three daily goals.
There are over 100 workout modes to allow you to better track the sport or exercise type you are doing, with relevant real-time data displayed for each during your workout. The included StayFit app can even help you track calorie intake and provide your daily deficit, active and resting calories in a handy chart.
To show the sports potential of this new watch, Huawei has partnered with multi-Olympic gold medalist Sir Mo Farah and global health and fitness influencer Pamela Reif. Both of these legends will be putting the Watch GT4 through its paces and showing exactly what it can do.
Compatible with Android and iOS
The best thing about the Huawei Watch GT4 is that to sync it to your phone you are not tied to a single platform. The Huawei apps are available for both Android and iOS phones, allowing you to easily sync your data with any device.
Once synced, you can answer calls on your watch, play music, get calendar notifications and even view and reply to text messages. That means that you may never need to take your phone out of your pocket.
To celebrate the launch of the Huawei Watch GT4, Currys has a special bundle, which includes a Huawei Smart Scale and a £30 gift card when purchasing the watch. The offer is valid until 31st October 2023.
