Traveling on the road is a great chance to get away and explore great new places, but there’s no reason to travel uncomfortably.  Sure, there’s AC in the vehicle as you’re driving, but once you get where you’re going, you’ll still want a way to keep cool without having to waste fuel. And you can’t exactly take your car AC with you when you leave the car.

EcoFlow has spent years building portable power systems for keeping your stuff powered up while on the go and now they’re using their expertise to add even more accessories to their complete outdoor ecosystem.

Its newest product is a portable air conditioner called the EcoFlow Wave. It aims to be one of the first outdoor AC products to offer a good balance of cooling performance, portability and battery life while giving users a range of methods for keeping it charged up.

For those who live in hotter, more humid climates, trying to camp in the summer time can be a painful experience. Thankfully, the EcoFlow Wave offers 4000 BTU of cooling performance with an inverter compressor to ensure plenty of cooling even in the hottest conditions. It can cool a 86ft² (8m²) space from 84℉ to 75℉ (30℃ to 24℃) in only eight minutes and advanced algorithms help to maintain the temperature so you don’t have to continue adjusting it to stay comfortable.

The EcoFlow Wave also has a Smart Battery Allocation Algorithm that allows users to set a desired run time (up to 8 hours) for the unit via the smartphone app and it will automatically calculate the optimal balance of cooling temperature and expected run time. That means you can set the unit to run and know it will automatically turn off at the right time so you don’t have to worry about it while out on your adventures.

Battery life is always a concern when away from and but with the EcoFlow Wave Portable Air Conditioner, you don’t have to worry about it. When paired with one of EcoFlow’s portable power stations, it offers 28% more run time compared to other power stations.

And when it is time to recharge the add-on battery, the Wave offers four different ways to charge including from a wall socket, portable power station, car charger, and solar panels, which is perfect for those hot summertime camping trips when you’ve got plenty of sun.

At just under 40 pounds (17.5kg), the Wave is small and light enough to take with you, but not big enough that you’ll have to leave anything behind. It also doesn’t require any setup. Simply turn it on and start using it right away. You can pair it with the smartphone app to gain even more control and set your perfect temperature.

With air conditioners, there has to be a way to clear out the condensation that builds up simply due to the way they work, but EcoFlow has built the Wave so that it doesn’t need as much regular maintenance as other common outdoor AC products. The condensation water is able to evaporate automatically, with no water left behind so you don’t have to constantly clean it out or worry about it messing up the unit.

When you’re out on the road, the last thing you want to worry about is being uncomfortable. You’re there to see the sights and enjoy the journey. The EcoFlow Wave is a great RV and camping travel companion to help keep you cool and comfortable no matter where you are. It’s portable, easy to use, and has plenty of features to put control in your hands. Pick yours up today.
