Remington One Total Body Multi-Groomer review: Jack of all trades or master of none?
A versatile multi-groomer that does a bit of everything – but does it manage to do it all well?
The Remington One Total Body Multi-Groomer is a solid pick for beginners or anyone wanting an all-in-one solution for basic grooming. While it’s not the most premium option out there, it's versatile in that it can perform most jobs relatively well. It’s also waterproof with USB-C charging, which makes it an even more practical addition to your grooming kit. However, for more serious beard or body hair grooming, there are better specialised and more precise tools on the market.

Foil shaving isn’t a close shave
Why you can trust T3
These days, personal grooming isn’t just about shaving your face or tidying up your sideburns - it’s about managing everything from your beard down to, well, wherever hair decides to show up. Yep, even those stray nose and ear hairs that seem to spring out of nowhere. More than ever, it’s safe to say people are putting effort into body grooming, and it’s becoming just as common as maintaining a decent haircut.
It’s no shocker, then, that the market has become packed with gadgets promising to make grooming easier, but finding one tool that does it all can feel like a bit of a minefield. If you’re anything like me, you’ll have a draw full of trimmers all for different tasks, which can make travelling a bit of a nightmare. That’s where the Remington One Total Body Multi-Groomer steps in, aiming to streamline the process by tacking everything in just one gadget thanks to its 18-in-1 functionality.
At its core, the Remington ONE is designed to handle everything: trimming, shaping and tidying, whether it’s your beard, body hair, neckline or even the hair on your head. It comes with a variety of attachments, including a T-blade for beard and body grooming, a foil shaver for close finishes and a nose and ear trimmer. Add to that its waterproof design and USB-C charging, and it seems like a practical all-rounder for everyday grooming. But is it able to do all of this at a good standard?
I’ve been using the Remington ONE for the past few weeks to see how well it tackles all these tasks. From beard trims to quick touch-ups in the shower, I’ve put it through its paces. Here’s how it fared.
Remington One review: PRICE AND AVAILABILITY
The Remington ONE Head & Body Multi-Groomer is available now on Remington’s official website – or at major retailers like Boots and Argos - with an RRP of £99.99/$125/AU$190.
However, it can also be picked up on other online retailers, such as Amazon, for as little as £70/$90/AU$140. These prices put it firmly in the mid-range bracket, sitting between budget-friendly options like the Manscaped Lawnmower 3 and more premium competitors like the Philips Series 9000.
For what’s included – four full-size attachments, 14 combs, waterproofing and USB-C charging – the price is reasonable. Plus, the three-year warranty (extendable to four years if registered online) is a welcome bonus.
If you’re looking for a versatile grooming tool without breaking the bank, the Remington ONE offers solid value for money, especially when discounted.
Remington One review: design and build
The Remington ONE Total Body Multi-Groomer is all about being versatile, and its design reflects that. It’s compact, lightweight and easy to handle, making it ideal for full-body grooming without feeling bulky or awkward to maneuver around. The black and grey finish keeps things simple, though the plastic build – while sturdy enough – doesn’t exactly scream high-end. It’s practical, I’ll give it that, but if you’re after something that feels ultra-premium in the hand, this won’t hit the mark.
One of the best things about this trimmer is that it’s fully waterproof, meaning you can use it in the shower or rinse it under the tap without a second thought. That makes maintenance a dream since it means no more faffing about with tiny brushes trying to clear out stray hairs. Just pop the attachments off, rinse, and let them dry.
Charging is another strong point. Instead of relying on a clunky proprietary charger, the Remington ONE uses USB-C, meaning you can power it up with the same cable you’d use for your phone or laptop. That’s a huge bonus, especially if you travel a lot and don’t want to carry extra chargers. A full charge takes around two hours, but if you’re caught short, the five-minute quick-charge feature will give you just enough juice for a quick tidy-up.
The trimmer comes with four full-size attachments, each designed for a specific job – beard and hair trimming, body grooming, a foil shaver and a dedicated nose, ear, and eyebrow trimmer. You also get 14 combs for adjusting trimming lengths, but with so many small parts, keeping everything organised can be a bit of a hassle. The included zip pouch is handy for storage, but it’s a bit small and you do need to cram everything into it to make it fit It’s also a soft silicon material, so is unlikely to protect the trimmer against hard knocks.
Still, the design is practical, travel-friendly, and well-thought-out, even if it leans more towards functionality than luxury.
Remington One review: performance
When it comes to actually getting the job done, the Remington ONE Total Body Multi-Groomer performs well across most areas, but some attachments definitely stand out more than others. The T-blade is easily the most impressive, offering a smooth, precise trim that makes tidying up beards, shaping sideburns and cleaning up the neckline almost effortless.
It’s wider than a standard trimmer blade, which means you can cover more ground in fewer strokes - but it will often take a few glides over the skin to get rid of the hair you’re wanting it to, since it doesn’t feel super sharp. I was expecting a bit better from Remington in this area, since I’ve been using its T-series for a good number of years now and it’s by far the most preciseT-blade I’ve ever used.
However, the One Total Body Multi-Groomer makes up for this with its body trimmer attachment. Unlike some all-purpose trimmers that can feel a bit harsh on the skin, this one is designed specifically for body grooming, and you can tell. It’s comfortable to use and doesn’t snag or pull, even in more sensitive areas. It’s a decent option if you want to keep chest hair neat, for example, without the irritation that some trimmers cause.
The foil shaver, however, is a bit hit or miss. It works fine on short stubble, but if you’ve got thicker or longer facial hair, you’ll likely need to go over the same area multiple times to get a clean finish. Even then, it’s not a close shave – definitely nowhere near what you’d expect from a super premium electric shaver or wet shave. It’s not bad, but it’s not the most powerful shaver out there, so if you like a super close shave, you’ll almost definitely find yourself reaching for a dedicated razor instead.
One area where it really delivers is nose, ear, and eyebrow trimming. The vertical trimmer has a larger head than most, which means you can get the job done quickly without awkward manoeuvring. It’s especially handy for eyebrows, giving you control without the risk of taking too much off.
When it comes to battery life, this is solid, lasting around an hour on a full charge. The quick-charge feature is a lifesaver if you forget to charge it, giving you enough power for a quick trim in just five minutes. For everyday grooming, it’s a reliable all-rounder.
Remington One review: verdict
The Remington ONE Total Body Multi-Groomer is a strong contender for anyone looking for an all-in-one grooming tool. It covers beard, body and facial hair grooming well, with standout features like the T-blade for precise trimming, a dedicated body hair trimmer, and USB-C charging for travel-friendly convenience.
That said, it’s not perfect. The foil shaver isn’t the best for thicker hair or achieving a closer shave, and the plastic build on some attachments feels a bit basic compared to premium competitors. If you’re after a top-tier grooming experience, something like the Philips Series 9000 might be a better fit.
But for £99.99 (or less on sale), you can’t go far wrong with the Remington ONE – it offers excellent value. It’s versatile, practical and ideal for those who want a single device that does it all - without needing a drawer full of separate trimmers. Just don’t expect it to work miracles.
