The Black Friday bargains continue and the latest come as somewhat a surprise – even though Amazon has only just introduced its new Echo Show 15 and 21 models, both have big money off already.
Shoppers in the US can get 10% off the wall-mountable devices right now – which amounts to $30 off the Amazon Echo Show 15 (2024 model) and $40 off the Amazon Echo Show 21.
The all-new Echo Show 15 replaces the last model and comes with a few improvements. It comes with enhanced video calling and audio capabilities, including a new, higher-res camera.
The largest Echo Show device Amazon has ever made, the all-new 21-inch display is ideal for mounting on a wall in the kitchen. It can be used as the hub for a smart home and to track family activities. It is also big enough to double as a kitchen TV.
Why choose the new Echo Show?
Amazon only introduced its latest Echo Show models a week ago, with a replacement for the existing Echo Show 15 and the completely new Amazon Echo Show 21.
The numbers refer to their screen sizes, with 15.6-inch and 21-inch displays respectively. That's the main difference, as they are very similar in all other specifications and features.
They feature new speaker systems, with two 2-inch woofers and a couple of 0.6-inch tweeters in each, while the camera has been improved (over the last-gen Echo Show 15). You now get a 13-megapixel front-facing cam for video calling, with a wider-angle to capture more in the same shot, plus auto-framing to keep you central.
Both devices double as Fire TV screens, so you can watch streamed shows and movies from all-manner of streaming services, and they are Alexa-enabled, of course, for voice assistance and to control your smart home.
Each of the new Echo Shows can be wall-mounted, but there's an optional Premium Adjustable Stand available too.
