After unveiling its new Play Sync box 2.0 last week, it's clear Philips Hue hasn't finished quite yet. The smart lighting brand has announced its popular Lightguide table lamps are now available in the US, which is a pretty big move since they've been exclusive to Europe since their launch.
These extremely sought after lamp bases are available in two shapes and three colors, and can be mixed and matched between a variety of Lightguide bulbs. They're 3D printed with recycled materials, and are described as having a wavy texture and a matte finish.
The exact US launch date for the Philips Hue Lightguide table lamps has yet to be announced, but it's expected to be within the next few weeks. They're yet to reach the UK.
The lamp bases are specially made for the Philips Hue Lightguide bulbs, with the brand suggesting pairing the base with the larger Triangle, Ellipse or Globe Large bulbs for the best effect. The bulbs can emit white or colored light up to 500 lumens, and can be controlled remotely via the Philips Hue app.
The Cone and Dome Lightguide Table lamps are priced at $59.99/€60.00, but various bundles of the bases and Lightguide bulbs start at $149.98/€159.99.
