When it comes to drones, DJI offers the best drones for the money with incredible recording quality, responsive controls, and a flurry of added features most drones on the market just can't match.

The pricing of DJI drones, however, can be a bit of a drag on your bank account if you're serious about getting into the hobby. While DJI does offer some of the best cheap drones around, their drones really start to fly when you jump up to their mid-ranged and premium lines.

The good news is DJI drones go on sale regularly, and we've seen discounts of 40% or more if you're patient enough for a good sale. Plus, DJI offers a range of officially refurbished drones on its website. Every month, retailers across the net discount these awesome drones, allowing you to save big on a cheap DJI drone for you and yours.

Best drone: DJI Mavic Air

The DJI Mavic Air series is a great starting point for beginner pilots and seasoned flyers alike. Some of the more budget-friendly options in DJI's lineup, the Air series comes in a variety of configurations. The current options are the Air 2 (launched April 2020) and 2S (from April 2021), both of which are outstanding, but the 2S in particular.

Head to our Mavic Air 2S review and Mavic Air 2 review to find out more.

DJI Mavic Mini

DJI Mini 3

The Mini series includes the smallest and cheapest of DJI's drones. But don't let the compact size confuse you: these nifty camera drones have some serious tech under their wings. While the features won't match the more advanced tech of DJI's more premium drones, they're great entry-level options for beginners and enthusiasts new to the hobby.

The most current models are the DJI Mini 3 and the DJI Mini 2 SE, while the slightly older DJI Mini 2 is also available. You might also be able to get your hands on an original DJI Mavic Mini drone in some places. Like most of the drones here, opt for a Fly More Combo kit for a range of useful extras that'll keep you in the air for longer.

DJI Mavic 2 and Mavic 3

The Mavic lineup is where DJI's drones start to really shine, offering impressive camera technology to deliver crystal clear images and footage (you'd be forgiven for being confused because the word 'Mavic' appears in the names of a few of DJI's legacy drones, but here we're just talking about the flagship models).

Here you're choosing between the latest DJI Mavic 3 Pro, DJI Mavic 3 Classic, DJI Mavic 3, launched in November 2021, and the older Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom, both of which hit the market in 2018. Check out the best DJI deals on these stunning drones below.

Ever wondered what it feels like to pilot a drone from a cockpit? That's what the FPV series is all about! The FPV (that's 'first-person view', to be clear) streams live directly to a pair of goggles to give you the first-person perspective of what you're drone sees, providing improved flight controls for those who want the thrill of flight without leaving the ground.
