T3 is something of an old hand when it comes to the phenomenon that is Black Friday and, with it once again rapidly approaching, we're here to help you make sense of this frenetic retail period before it gets away. Year after year, we try to source the best deals amongst the flurry of Black Friday offers that hit the internet – and this year is no different.
What is different, however, is the ongoing supply situation hitting retailers' stock levels. With footfall expected to drop across all UK retail destinations this year during the key six-week Christmas trading period, Black Friday sales are set to surge as shoppers worry over rampant stock issues and get their shopping done earlier.

The tips we've included should help prep you for the big occasion.
This is especially true of this year's Black Friday sales where fellow online shoppers will be equally cognizant of the supply crisis engulfing the retail sector. A report from data experts Springboard predicts that footfall will be boosted in November as a shortage of labor, namely lorry drivers, has lead to a petrol crisis in the country and a subsequent knock-on effect that's impacted major supply chain issues for many sectors.
The report tips an increase in footfall of 7.9% “as shoppers take advantage of widespread discounting to visit stores to ensure they secure the gifts they want". To put that in perspective: This is more than the average uplift in footfall for the week, which was 5.1% between 2014 and 2019, and 1.7% in 2018 and 2019.
So, whether you're looking for the best 8K TV Black Friday deals, the best Black Friday 2-in-1 laptop deals, or even the best Black Friday gaming chair sales and deals, our BF hub covers all areas of possible interest, receives regular updates, and is the only place you need to be as the retail bonanza strikes. It'll save you time, effort, and a whole lot of stress as you avoid being swamped by deals.
Reports like the Springboard one increasingly refer to this year's Black Friday as a resurgence. The annual Black Friday shopping period has no doubt shrunk in importance over recent years, seeing small footfall boosts of just 1.7% in each of 2018 and 2019. And while the pandemic brought significant changes to our shopping patterns, it's this latest supply choke that's reigniting interest in Black Friday once again.
