The Honor 7X: now in red
The 7X looks very pleasing indeed in its standard line-up of black, blue and gold finishes. However, from February 14 there will be a red edition. This is a significant move, as well as a strikingly stylish one.
George Zhao, President of Honor, explains, “The red edition is always special and exclusive to flagship products. This is the very first time Honor is introducing this new colour to overseas markets as part of our Honor 7X line. It’s limited to just 20,000 globally, so we hope customers around the world will enjoy this exclusive new offering. It won’t be around for long.”

If you’re looking to upgrade without breaking the bank, the all-new Honor 7X could be just the thing. From its FullView widescreen display to its tasty, premium styling the 7X has flagship features, without a flagship price – it’s £269.99 SIM-free.
However, show off your Instagram skills and you could secure one for the even more alluring price of £0.00. We're celebrating another killer feature of the Honor 7X – a fantastic dual camera – with our ongoing Max Your City competitive photography fest.
To enter, take and Instagram a picture that embodies the theme ‘Max Your City’, using the hashtags #MaxYourCity and #Honor7XTR. Be sure to follow T3’s Instagram and Facebook account – that’s how we’ll notify the winner. Let your creativity run wild, like an urban fox, and take inspiration from the examples you see here.
On Friday January 19 at 2pm, our judges will pick a winner. Because the red special edition of the 7X doesn’t come out until February 14, you will have to wait until then to receive your prize – sorry about that.
After this week, you still have one more chance to win an Honor 7X.
- Want to win an Honor 7X? Head to Instagram to enter your ‘Max Your City’ photos with the hashtags #MaxYourCity and #Honor7XTR then search the hashtag #Honor7X to get all the latest Honor 7X news as it happens.

Honor 7X: More for less
The Honor 7X’s smart design means it fits a 5.93-inch screen – that’s a lot of visual real estate – into a very compact smartphone.
Honor has combined a sleek, 18:9 aspect ratio with ultra-slim bezels to keep the 7X ultra-portable and pocketable, despite packing more inches than the competition.
Continuing the premium feel, the screen's 2.5D glass curves at the edges, seamlessly melding into the 7X's slick, metal unibody so it’s comfortable to hold and cool to behold. Colour options range from classic black or white, to a rich metallic blue.

Take a wider view
The Honor 7X’s FullView widescreen has a better-than-full-HD resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. That’s great for watching TV and movies, and also makes it easier to hold. Streaming from your favourite on-demand service has never looked this good, with full-screen entertainment and less letterboxing.
A wider screen also means more space for your games, giving you the sniper's edge in first person shooters, more room for on-screen controls in action games and a wider field of view in racing simulators.
Via Google’s Play stores, the Honor 7X also instantly gives you access to thousands of movies, games, entertainment apps and productivity tools.
Killer camera

Another great feature of the Honor 7X is its 16+2-megapixel, dual-lens camera. Perfect for budding photographers and experts alike, this is able to capture a stunning amount of detail, with the second camera intelligently sensing depth so you can capture brilliant portraits.
A range of shooting modes let you get creative, from Light Painting for dreamy light trails through to a full manual mode that gives you total creative control over your shots.
It’s just one more way that the Honor 7X looks, feels and performs like a flagship.
