MSI's RTX 40 series of laptops offer top quality gaming on the go
Updated with the latest and greatest Nvidia GPU, these laptops are primed for gaming, creativity or just about anything else you can throw at them
Whether you’re a hardcore gamer, or spend your time working on computer-intensive, creative applications, a top quality laptop is a must. In order to make the most of your computer setup, you’ll want a laptop with a top of the line graphics card. Fortunately, there’s a host of great options available in the MSI GeForce RTX 40 range.
The latest series of GPU’s from NVIDIA, the GeForce RTX 40 series represents the pinnacle of the brands’ graphics processing prowess. The range brings dedicated cores for ray tracing, which better simulates how light acts in the real world to offer enhanced realism and immersion. Elsewhere, a combination of low latency and AI-enhancement make for a range of GPU’s that are much more powerful than the GeForce RTX 30 series that came before it.
Seven different ranges of MSI laptops feature the new GeForce RTX 40 range of GPU’s. Models start from as little as £1,249, giving users a chance to get their hands on one without breaking the bank. Let’s take a look at the range in detail.
Titan GT Series
The Titan GT range is described as the ultimate solution for replacing a desktop. This flagship laptop features a host of top specs normally reserved for static devices. No expense is spared, with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 HX processor, a massive 17.3-inch MiniLED display with a whopping 144Hz refresh rate, and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. Prices start from £5,299, but if you want the best of the best, this is it.
Raider GE Series
Loaded with the eye-catching Mystic Light, the Raider GE series is certainly not a laptop for those looking to blend into the background. This is much more than just a pretty face though, packing a host of top tech into a sleek package. There are a range of 16-inch and 17-inch models, with a choice of resolutions and refresh rates topping out at 240Hz.
Elsewhere, specs go up to the 13th Gen Intel Core i9 HX processor, with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. Prices start from £2,199, offering a premium experience at a more affordable price point.
Vector GP Series
The Vector GP range is packed with no-nonsense machines designed to do what they do perfectly. The range features a keyboard from Steelseries, with per-key RGB lighting which can be customised based on your use case. A specially designed cooling system helps to improve thermal capabilities, even under extreme loads, with heat pipes attached to both the CPU and the GPU.
Prices start from £1,999 and can be configured to include a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 GPU.
Stealth series
Designed to offer the ultimate hybrid of performance and portability, the Stealth series is perfect for gamers on the go. But the sleek design of the Stealth range of laptops also makes them perfect for business users. A wide range of display sizes are available. You can choose from 14-inch, 15.6-inch, 16-inch and 17.3-inch models to suit your needs, making this the perfect option for work and play alike. Prices start from £1,799 and can be fitted with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 GPU.
Pulse series
The Pulse series wears its heart on its sleeve, with a unique sci-fi design that is unmistakably MSI. Powered by a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070, the Pulse range is big on quality without having an inflated price tag. Two sizes are on offer, allowing you to tailor the laptop to suit your lifestyle. And with prices starting from just £1,699, this is the perfect entry door for gamers who want to level up their setup.
Katana series
If you’re just starting to get serious about your gaming setup, the Katana series is the perfect place to look. Gentle enough on the eye to still be at home in a more professional setting, the Katana series maintains the character of the gamer thanks to a four-zone RGB keyboard with WASD highlighting.
Inside, the latest 13th Gen Intel Core processor keeps things powered, while the GPU can be configured up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, for enhanced graphics. Combine that with a display that features a 144Hz refresh rate, and you have a monstrous machine on your hands. And with prices from just £1,499, you won't have to break the bank to get there.
Cyborg series
The Cyborg series is designed with a Steampunk aesthetic in mind. The chassis and keyboard have translucent elements, which allow the raw, industrial parts below to shine through as part of the design.
It’s not just a pretty face though. It’s slim and light, weighing just 1.98kg and measuring just 21.95mm thick. Inside, you’ll get an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU, with a 144Hz refresh rate on the display to ensure lifelike graphics. Priced from just £1,249, this is a no-brainer for gamers on a budget.
