Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 today saw Samsung unveil some new goodies, with tantalizing bespoke editions of its Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Buds 2, and Galaxy Watch 4 – all of which give users the ability to tailor their devices to their own individual liking.
With Google Pixel 6 unboxed, as well as the arrival of Apple AirPods 3 and several new MacBooks, plenty of new tech has been released this week. There were some expected releases, but also some surprises, which we love because it keeps us on our toes. Unpacked 2 didn't throw any massive curveballs in regards really unexpected releases, but what Samsung did today is amp up its many devices' personalization options, which can be sorely lacking across the wider industry.
With several Unpacked events already under its belt this year that saw the firm drop the Samsung Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, this classy set of bespoke edition devices is an elegant way to round off a very busy year. Here's everything that was unveiled at today's event:
Everything announced at Galaxy Unpacked 2
The first announcement of the show was Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition. The Bespoke edition is made to order; Samsung says that the device combines your unique taste with Samsung's technology. Customers can mix and match their color preference from a palette of 49 separate color choices to create their own unique combination by choosing phone frame options of Black or Silver, and front and back colors of Blue, Yellow, Pink, White, or Black.
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition is available today online in Germany, the USA, the UK, Korea, Canada, and Australia, with the availability likely to extend to other markets. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition costs $1,099, which marks an extra $100 premium on top of the standard Flip. This may offend some users enough to shun the device entirely, but the hefty price tag is sweetened somewhat by a possible $600 trade-in credit with the highest online instant trade-in values for eligible devices. That will take a serious chunk off the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke making it far better value for money if you fancy switching up one of the best phones to something with a little more pizzaz.
Customers can also tweak the look of their Samsung smartwatch with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Bespoke at the Galaxy Watch 4 Bespoke Studio. Akin to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, users can personalize their device but by mixing and matching from a variety of Galaxy Watch 4 series colors, sizes, and strap styles. Samsung hasn't provided photos of the Bespoke Edition Watch4 yet. However, there's also the option of this Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Maison Kitsuné Edition, if you like your smartwatch to be special in a different way…
The bespoke theme was clearly the nerve center of this Samsung event, with every new launch pivoting on the personalization of existing products. We love it and we're sure users will, too, when they're able to get their hands on the new models. Extra personalization features will come bundled with the latest software update, with a bunch of new customizable watch face styles, a more tailored fall detection feature that enables users to adjust sensitivity, and a new “knock, knock” wrist motion that activates your favorite or most-used apps and features.

Galaxy Watch 4, Galaxy Buds 2: Maison Kitsune
As mentioned above, Samsung unveiled the Maison Kitsune-styled Galaxy Watch 4 but that wasn't all. The Parisian, fox-themed couture house has also added its imprimatur to Samsung's Galaxy Buds 2. The $250 Galaxy Buds 2 Maison Kitsuné Edition and the $400 Galaxy Watch 4 Kitsuné Edition will both be available starting today.
Hot on the heels of the recent Thom Browne-edition wearables, Samsung's newly unveiled Maison Kitsuné editions of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 see the wearables join up with the trendy fox logo for the ultimate tech fashion link-up. With the Buds, style and sound collide for in a Moonrock Beige and are housed in a sleek Stardust Gray leather case emblazoned with a reimagined Maison Kitsuné Fox Head logo.
One thing is for certain here: you won't be wanting any other pair of buds from our rundown of the best true wireless earbuds after sampling this spiced-up audio gadget. The right earbud features the Fox’s head, while the left earbud showcases its tail, which Samsung says represents the uninterrupted journey through the Samsung Galaxy. According to the firm, users can revel in rich, premium sound quality and fully immerse themselves in crisp and clear audio experiences, thanks to dynamic two-way speakers, enhanced Active Noise Cancellation, and the comfortable fit of the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2. We look forward to trying them.

Galaxy Unpacked Part 2: What products will debut?
There's really no telling what to expect at this second Unpacked event. Not only is this because Samsung took us by surprise in announcing the event, but we're not expecting any groundbreaking Samsung hardware until at least early next year.
We may not (possibly ever again) see a new Galaxy Note phone, so this year's final Unpacked event will probably forgo a new smartphone entirely, which probably means we won't be seeing any new entrants to our best Samsung phones list, at least this year. The case for a new tablet is perhaps more convincing, at least in so much as that we haven't seen a new Galaxy Tab S8 this year.
But, yet again, speculation suggests that such a tablet likely won't arrive until 2022, so it's a riddle as to what exactly could debut at the Samsung Unpacked 2021 event. Either way, it's always exciting when an event is announced and T3 will, of course, keep you posted as the news rolls in!
